This American Safety and Health Institute course is designed to deliver fundamental information in babysitting, including proper supervision, basic caregiving skills and safety and injury prevention. This program gives tweens and teens everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. From getting started with their business, to dealing with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips. Also included in this program are CPR and First Aid certification. Students will obtain course completion cards, documenting completion of the Child and Babysitter Safety, CPR and First Aid courses through the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). Class size is limited to 12 students. Students ages 10 to 17 years of age can take this course. Students should bring their own lunch to class. Fee is payable Community Ed.
