The St Croix Falls AutumnFest is a lovely Fall Festival celebrating the beauty, creativity and diversity of the St Croix River Valley.
The mission of St. Croix Falls Autumn Fest is to capture our unique sense of place, awaken the creative potential of the St. Croix Valley and explore self-sufficient and sustainable models of community development. It is a fun, family oriented celebration of the changing season. You’ll find beautiful views along the Scenic St. Croix River with an Art Fair, live music, deluxe food court, kids activities, plus sidewalk sales downtown.
A community gathers in its warmer jackets and sweaters to say hello to one another.
Gets together to enjoy some Autumn cheer.
To gather some special things for their homes to bring in the golden and red 4th quarter of the year.
“Now in its 13th year, the St Croix Falls Autumn Festival celebration offers a city-wide opportunity to really enjoy life. Featuring live music and many smiling local faces”, says organizer Woody McBride. “We have expanded the schedule to be two days with a new classic car show, more music, more vendors, food, beer, wine – Its a wonderful tradition rooted in mother earth lore, river sprit magic and our strong buy local sensibility.
We are placed in a scenic downtown river town along the St Croix River – and the fourth Saturday of October each year is a great day to spend in the area. Check out all the sales at local shops, visit our vintage stores, get some coffee at the DH Cafe or 3 Arrows, get some hand-made candy at Valley Sweets or pick out a clever gift at Tangen’s, pick up some pet supplies at Fur-Get-Me Nots, get some fresh flowers, get some gas, check out the quilt shop or the cobbler shop, learn about the SCF Civic Auditorium Renovation project, grab a healthy snack at Fine Acres Natural Foods Market, get your hair done, go on a guided nature hike, have lunch or dinner at one of our local restaurants. And before you go. swing through one of the local taverns. If nothing else take in the clean fall air and some peace and quiet in The City of Trails.”
