Vidar Skrede has a background in traditional music from southwester Norway and holds a degree in Nordic folk music from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. Sara Pajunen ahs been described as an amazingly versatile musician who now counts among the most ambitious and notable practitioners of Finnish folk music outside Finland. She grew up in Finnish-American northern Minnesota and received classical music degrees in both the United States and Finland.
Together the work together as the Newlands Co-Op to bring great music to new audiences and workshops to those who want to learn more about their musical work.
